Hey friends, long time no see. Much like this piece I forgot to finish 🙈

How many pieces do you have going at once? How many do you have sitting in time out til you get back around?

Update for those curious: I'm still in very slow healing stages. The xrays and MRI showed degeneration in the spine along with a herniated disc. There may be some other things going on, but time will tell what other players are.

So stuff is going, just more slowly since tasks like sitting, walking etc are extremely difficult. But I'm on the road to recovery! So thank you all for the encouragement 🙏 ❤️

I was looking forward the most to drawing her in my style haha. It was important to convey her fiery personality, so I gave her a tougher, "don't test me" expression vs the original.

How are we doing?

For this year, one of the things Im challenging myself to develop is skill growth.

Truthfully, I've felt stagnant lately, even with the much needed holidays break.(Let's be real, 2024 was wild.)
It's hard sometimes when you feel like you've hit a wall. It's easy to get down on yourself as you celebrate others growth and success (which is amazing!), but you yourself still just feel, stuck. It's tough to remember comparison is the thief of joy.
Do any of you feel this way sometimes too?

📖 So to combat that, I'm dusting off old notes or art books and diving back into online videos.
For practice, I'm aiming to just do more of what I love with drawing or sketching favorite shows or characters.
(This sketch is from an adorable Kdrama I really enjoyed called "A Love so Beautiful " I definitely recommend 👌)

Maybe we can all work together to improve our skills? That would be fun. Maybe we can work out a way to do it together?

As an artist who adores character creation, I specialize in character designs for RPG style table top games and OCs. This particular piece to the left, Bone Rattler, was commissioned by a client for a DND campaign.
