Hi!

My name is Bethany, I am a Pennsylvania native who found a love for art and story telling as a child. I was highly inspired by cartoons, comics, old movies and folklore, which turned into a love for all things mythical and fantastic. 

 

During my art education phase and early career, I was diagnosed with several chronic health conditions which forced me to rethink my professional strategies. And freelance from home was the solution!

Now, as a grown up, I specialize in folklore and fantasy based character design and illustration. I have created designs for client's original characters for RPG gaming, as well as character designs and illustrations for both traditional and indie publishers, and textbook curriculum.

BS in visual arts degree, concentration in studio art (2009)

Masters of Fine Art degree, in studio art and illustration (2012)

College art instructor (4 1/2 years)

Digital illustrator/ Freelance (2012-present)
